David Bell
Vice President and Co-Founder
David Bell serves as Vice President of the Purposeful Giving Alliance, helping shape and execute the organization’s mission to empower families and build stronger communities across Arizona. As a passionate business owner and philanthropist, David combines strategic leadership with a genuine heart for giving. He plays a key role in driving growth, community engagement, and partnerships that make the Alliance’s large-scale events—like the Annual Day of Giving and the Backpack & Teacher Appreciation Drive—possible and impactful.
Founder of AE Outdoor Living, established in 2005 in Peoria. A Day of Giving was his idea.
David Bell is Vice President and Co-Founder of Purposeful Giving Alliance and the founder of AE Outdoor Living (formerly Advant-Edge Curbing and Landscaping) in Peoria, Arizona. He founded his company in Peoria in 2005 “out of a single truck,” starting with decorative curbing. A Day of Giving was his idea from the start.
Giving before the charity
- 2016: his company donated a new backyard to a family who had lost money to an unlicensed contractor (Peoria Times, azfamily 3 On Your Side).
- 2017: his team rebuilt a backyard for the Raskey family (FOX 10, azfamily, TODAY).
Hurricane Harvey
In mid-September 2017 he told AZFamily that families there needed dust masks, building tools, bleach and gloves, and that the We Support Texas group was “operating four truckloads.” “This wasn’t what we wanted to do for a couple days,” he said. “It’s now until the end.”
Co-founding A Day of Giving
The Peoria Times called David Bell, Dave Delvecchio and Brian Morris “the heart, soul, brains, and muscle” behind the first one. Advant-Edge was a 2024 presenting partner (Sun City Independent).
